Resumaine provides two ways to export your resume as a PDF. Although both look similar, they behave differently when processed by Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Use the correct method to ensure your resume is readable by automated systems.
Text‑based PDF (ATS compatible)
Export your resume using Print → Save as PDF when submitting to job portals. This produces a text‑based PDF that ATS can scan and parse. Text remains selectable, searchable, and accessible.
Image‑based PDF
The Download option generates a high‑quality image PDF. It is ideal for visual sharing and printing, but ATS systems may not read the content correctly. Text cannot be selected or copied.
